  • Bourbon wanted to train its Masters, Chiefs engineers and Surfers Pilots in risk management processes.
  • The shipping company wanted to explore the possibility of working with a training organization, in order to design and deliver a training module, for its various international entities.
  • The requirement concerned the following countries: France / Switzerland / Ukraine / Russia / United Arab Emirates / Nigeria / Cameroon / Norway / Brazil.

Activities / Tasks and Solutions developed by Aegide International

To meet Bourbon's needs, Aegide International has implemented a two-phase project:

  • Phase 1 - Design: Kick-off meeting / Program validation and training plan / Development / Revision / Test session / Revision and validation.
  • Phase 2 - Training facilitation: Translation of materials into English - Spanish - Portuguese / Selection and training of trainers / Training facilitation.

Project results

Over a period of 2 years, Aegide International delivered a training module specific to customer expectations and conducted 94 training sessions.
1050 people were trained - 7 AEGIDE International trainers mobilized.
A knowledge progression of over 80% for participants following the training was measured as well as a significant improvement in application compliance with the company-specific risk management process.
